Ode to the ’70s: The Return of Bell-Bottoms

The fashion world constantly bears witness to recycled fashion trends, so it should come as no surprise that many of the 70’s top fads are making their way back. One of the more controversial of these resurfacing styles would have to be the bell-bottom. Originally associated with peasant blouses and platforms, the 2017 version of bell-bottoms is adjusted for the modern woman. This past month, we saw some of fashion’s most daring figures adorn quite a few different pairs. The Ellery’s full-flare rendition was front and center. These audacious pants look fantastic with a structured jacket or blouse to offset the whimsical nature of the bell-bottom’s shape.
